Vipanchika

അപൂർവങ്ങളിൽ അപൂർവമായി മാത്രം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ചില അനുഭവങ്ങളുണ്ട്. പറഞ്ഞറിയിക്കാനാവാത്ത ഉണർവും ഉന്മേഷവും ഊർജവും നൽകുന്നവ. മാർ തിയോഫിലസിന്റെ അറുപത്തി ആറാമത് കോളേജ് യൂണിയൻ അദ്വിതീയയും Oratory Club ആയ ലിഖയും ചേർന്ന് വയലാർ അനുസ്മരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സമ്മാനിച്ച ശ്രവ്യവിരുന്ന് അത്തരമൊരു അനുഭവമായിരുന്നു. മണ്മറഞ്ഞുപോയ, അതുല്യനായൊരു കവിയുടെ കാവ്യസരണിയിലൂടെ, ഞങ്ങടെ കൈ പിടിച്ച് പ്രതിഭാധനനായ മറ്റൊരു യുവകവി നടത്തിയ  ഒരു ഓട്ടപ്രദക്ഷിണം. എസ്. എൻ. സുമേഷ് കൃഷ്ണൻ തികച്ചും  അവിശ്വസനീയമായ വിജ്ഞാന പാടവമുള്ള,  ആരാധനയർഹിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദമാധുരിയുള്ള, അതിപ്രഗത്ഭനായ ഒരു വാഗ്മിയത്രേ. വിരസതയുടെ  കയ്പ്പ് ലവലേശമെന്യേ വിളമ്പിത്തന്ന ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ സ്വാദ് ഒരിക്കലും മറവിയുടെ പ്രലോഭനങ്ങളിൽ വീഴുകയില്ലെന്ന് അതിശയോക്തി തെല്ലുമില്ലാതെ പറയാം. പരീക്ഷയും, ലെസ്സൺ പ്ലാനും, അസ്സൈന്മെന്റും, ഡെമോൺസ്ട്രേഷൻ ക്ലാസ്സുകളും നിറച്ച  ഇരുട്ടിന്റെ അമാവാസിയിൽ  ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് തന്ന ഒരിറ്റ് വെളിച്ചത്തിന് അദ്വിതീയക്ക്, ലിഖയ്‌ക്ക്, ജോജു സാറിന്, സർവോപരി സുമേഷ് സാറിന്, നന്ദി!

We got our first demonstration class today. Three of our seniors came and gave us the best demo class possible. We were literally awestruck to watch them engage the class and, to be frank, a sort of inferiority complex embraced us. We were poor teachers  compared to them, even poorer class managers. They gave us sufficient insight regarding how to take a class, how to follow the lesson plan , how to make students active participants in the learning activity and how to use the teaching aids effectively. The afternoon hours witnessed the spectacular Talent Hunt performances by the first semester B.Ed students. Their choices were unique and their coordination flawless.  How could they do less, they are 'our juniors', right?

It could have been a normal day if it's not the day of inauguration of the media club of Mar Theophilus Training College. The programme could be an ordinary one if the resource person was not C. J. Vahid. Yes, Theo Press, the Media Club of MTTC , was  inaugurated officially by C. J Vahid, the veteran news reader of Doordarshan, on a formal function.The resource person was simple and down to earth; the talk really absorbing and worth attending. He neither discussed with us any international things nor kept us bored, but shared some of his experiences. The most interesting part of the session was that he mimic k ed the voice of some actors and news readers which was flawless. At the end of the programme, a short film was shown highlighting the importance of extending love and care to other fellow human beings.  

We were relieved that our second semester exam has been postponed. Although our portions have been covered (in a hurry-bury, of course), our curriculum demands were pending. There were a lot more activities to be completed. Above all, we people (for atleast few of us)  had absolutely no idea about the syllabus and the things to be studied. Fortunately, the press release from the Kerala University proved to be worth waiting for. The exam has been postponed.  But then the next monster came; The Model Exam and MCQ!!! And do you know what, we are WAITING!
