Life is but a dream!

It was a festival week. There were farewell ceremonies, retirement funtions, annual day celebrations and so on.  Though all these programmes stole all our teaching hours, our hearts were full. What we witnessed in these days were talents ; talents which are divine, flawless and amazing. We were taken a long route back to our school days, our farewell moments and the celebrations. Some of our teachers visited us for their routine observation in between, but everything went smooth. This week passed faster, giving us some of the fondest of the memories and finest of the experiences.

Practice Teaching 3rd Week

This week witnessed random visits by our teachers, both optional and general, with or without prior information. Observation of Yoga was one among them and six of us were chosen for the first session. All of us had prepared well, though we made tiny mistakes out of tension and nervousness. The rest was as usual; we had our daily duties, classes, record works, teaching aids preparation and so on. And yes, one more week passed.

Practice Teaching Second Week

Yes, We have started loving what we do. The hardships are no longer hardships and we have no time for worrying about the workloads. We have begun living a teacher's life in full bloom. We don't even realize the passage of time. Time flies and the days pass like rocket. A few of our teachers visited on these days as part of observation and gave their suggestions regarding our  teaching performance. We welcomed all their comments and are striving to apply all those suggestions in practice.

Practice Teaching Diaries.

It's been just three days since the teaching practice started, but I feel as if it's been for three years. The intense practice teaching days seem to be hectic, tiring and doubtlessly tedious. We've already begun to miss our college, our teachers, our friends and the healing atmosphere of our campus. But never think that we will give up. We'll fight the hardest days, will take the greatest efforts and will achieve the sweetest of the results.  We, the 24 students of Mar Theophilus Training College from various optionals are sent to St. Mary's HSS, Pattom for the teaching practice from 5th January to 17th February. Periods were allotted to us together with various other duties such as line duty, vegetable cutting, food distribution and the like. Trainees are supposed to engage the free classes as well. Even though the tight schedule makes us weary, we enjoy the moments spent together with our team, the tiny, harmless mischiefs of our students
