31.01.2022 Though it's been a few days since I attended the classes, either online or offline, I didn't feel any fissures. I could follow the lessons without much back work or preparation. I felt that everything was continuation of the things already said in the previous sessions which I attended. Thanks to our teachers who take effortsto revise the portions almost everyday. Today, the first hour was handled by Benedict Sir, who talked in great deal about preparing lesson plans, observing video lessons, school induction programme and the like. The optional hour was allotted to seminar and discussion, and Kavya managed to present her topic well. Ancy Ma'am, during her period, familiarized us the methods and techniques of conducting classes via Google Classroom. Also, she discussed in detail the developmental processes during adolescence. The day passed without much pell- mell. I was neither too happy nor too sad. It was just another day. 

18. 01. 2021 Though the online classes are not as interesting and absorbing as offline classes are, they don't seem to fail the purpose they ought to serve. The online sessions are informative, interactive and effective , and the teachers concerned make it sure that the students miss nothing. Today, the first period was handled by Sathyalekha Ma'am, who discussed in detail Ericson's Theory of Psycho Social Development. Meekha Ma'am engaged us later on and she talked about the importance of unit plan. Both Nandana and Sr. Jomcy presented their seminar topics, and their presentation was worth appreciating. Dona Ma'am joined us for the next session, and it was emotional intelligence that she dealt with. One more day of online education had gone by, and the hike in the covid test positivity rate appears to promise an era of  online education.😐

17. 01. 2021 Another day of online class. Maya Ma'am engaged us in the first period and dealt with the Philosophical base of Knowledge and curriculum. Technology session followed, and Revathy Ma'am engaged us on behalf of Joju Sir. She discussed the role of web technologies such as computer simulation and blended learning in education. Meekha Ma'am engaged us later on, and, during the period, I presented my seminar paper on the topic 'The Teaching of English Grammar'. I managed to present the paper well, not very well though. My listeners might be of some different opinions regarding my presentation, well,  I guess. However, no question came from the audience. The period ended before someone could pose a question.Thank God!  And that was all about the day. Pray for a speedy reopening of the college, for I miss her badly.

13.01.2022 വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ ഓൺലൈൻ ക്ലാസായിരുന്നു ഇന്ന്.  തലമുറകളുടെകഥ പറയുന്ന ക്ലാസ് മുറികളിൽ, പലരും വാക്കുകളും ചിത്രങ്ങളും കോറിയിട്ട പഠന മേശകൾക്കരികിൽ, അറിവിനോടൊപ്പം സ്നേഹം വിളമ്പുന്ന അധ്യാപകരെ മാത്രം കണ്ടു ശീലിച്ച  എനിക്ക് അപരിചിതമായിരുന്നു ഈ പുതിയ പാഠ്യരീതി. കാതങ്ങൾക്കപ്പുറം സ്വന്തം വീടിന്റെ സ്വകാര്യതയിൽ, കൈക്കുള്ളിലൊതുങ്ങുന്ന ഒരു കുഞ്ഞു സ്‌ക്രീനിൽ സഹപാഠികളുടെയും അധ്യാപകരുടെയും മുഖങ്ങൾ കാണാതെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, അവരുടെ ശബ്ദങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാതെ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ എത്ര കണ്ട് ശാസ്ത്രം വളർന്നുവെന്ന്‌ തെല്ലൊരത്ഭുതത്തോടെ ഓർത്തുപോയി. ആദ്യ പിരീഡ് ഡോണ മാം വന്നു പോയി. മീഖാ മാമിന്റെ ഊഴമായിരുന്നു പിന്നീട്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ക്ലാസിൽ പഠിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കൽകൂടി ചർച്ച ചെയ്ത ശേഷം മാം ദൃശ്യക്ക് സെമിനാർ എടുക്കാനുള്ള അവസരം നൽകി. പ്രശംസനീയമായ അവതരണമാണ് ദൃശ്യ കാഴ്ച വെച്ചത്. തുടർന്ന് ഷബാന മാം ക്ലാസ് നയിച്ചു. ഡോ. എസ്. രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്റെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസപരമായ ഫിലോസഫി ആശയങ്ങളാണ്  മാം ഞങ്ങളെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഉടലകന്നുവെങ്കിലും മനസ്സുകൾക്ക് തീരെ അകലം തോന്നിയില്ല ഈ ഓണലൈൻ ക്ലാസിലും. ശാസ്ത്രത്തിനു സ്തുതി! 

12. 01. 2022 Natural Science conducted their first assembly today and they did it in a systematic manner; well planned and well arranged. They named their association 'Horus', and their logo talked volumes about their vision. In the absence of the Principal and Joju Sir, Giby Ma'am addressed the students and, released the association name along with the logo. Optional class followed the assembly. Two of our classmates, Athira and Vivek, presented their seminar topics during the period. Dona Ma'am and Shabana Ma'am engaged us later on. Due to the concerns regarding the increase in number of covid cases in the campus, I left the campus after seeking the permission of our optional Ma'am. The college authorities decided to suspend the offline classes for a while, and planned to take online classes instead.  And, that was all about the day. 

10.01.2022 Sathyalekha Ma'am engaged us in the optional hour and she dealt with the psycholinguistic theories. General class followed the optional period, and both Sathyalekha Ma'am and Revathy Ma'am dealt with technology topics. In the afternoon session, Dona Ma'am discussed with us Louis Thurston's Group Factor Theory. Shabana Ma'am engaged us later on, and during the period, Ami sang for us and that made our day. 

07.01.2022 തിയോഫിലസിലെ ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഓരോ പുതിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളാണ്; ഓരോ അനുഭവങ്ങളും ഓരോ പുതിയ  ഓർമകളും. ഇന്നെന്ത് അത്ഭുതമാണ് കോളേജ് എല്ലാർക്കുമായി കാത്തുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന കൗതുകവും പേറിയാണ് ഓരോ ദിവസവും പുലരുക. അത്തരം കുഞ്ഞുകുഞ്ഞു  ചിന്തകളുമായാണ് ഇന്നും കോളേജിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചത്. ദിവസത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ മണിക്കൂറുകളിൽ പുതുമയുള്ളതൊന്നും സംഭവിച്ചില്ല. സത്യലേഖ മാമിന്റെ ഓപ്‌ഷണൽ ക്ലാസ് വിരസതയില്ലാതെ കടന്നുപോയി. തിയറി ക്ലാസ് സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ കാലേ കൂട്ടി തയാറെടുത്തിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നിലേക്ക് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായാണ് ആ കുഞ്ഞു മനുഷ്യൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. ഉയരം കുറഞ്ഞ, തീരെ മെലിഞ്ഞ, തിളക്കമുള്ള കണ്ണുകളും പ്രസാദമുള്ള മുഖവുമുള്ള ഒരാൾ. ആദ്യനോട്ടത്തിൽ ഇതാരെന്ന സംശയം തോന്നി. ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തെയും അതിന്റെ പുറംചട്ട നോക്കി വിലയിരുത്തരുതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തെളിയിച്ചു. തുടക്കം മുതൽ ഒടുക്കം വരെ ഞങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളുടെ പോലും ശ്രദ്ധ മാറാതെ, താൽപ്പര്യം തെല്ലും കുറയാതെ, പൂർണമായും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന, ആസ്വാദ്യകരമായ ഒരു പഠനാനുഭവം അദ്ദേഹം ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ചു. കേവലം 40 മിനിറ്റ് മാത്രമുള്ള പിരീഡുകൾക്ക് നീളം കൂടുതലാണെന്ന് വിഷമിച്ചിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് 1.15 മണി

06. 01. 2022 It was a usual day with usual happenings. But each day in MTTC is special in its own way. The day started with Yoga and that helped me remain fresh throughout the day. The M.Ed interns engaged us the rest of the day and we found them social and approachable. They managed the sessions well and they were in no way unsatisfactory. It was a tedious day; there were no breaks in-between (except for the lunch break) and yet, the day seemed beautiful. 

04. 01. 2022 Yet another day of love and learning has gone by. Maya Ma'am engaged us in the first hour and, almost winded up the first unit. All those thoughts and experience she shares with us make us introspect a little bit everyday , and today, her words served us more food for thought and reflection. She urged us to autosuggest, and that moved us, it seems. "Teaching is an art. And hence, teacher an artist. Teaching is a science. And hence, teacher a scientist.", she said.  For the artist teacher you are, we love you Ma'am. For the scientist teacher you are, we respect you Ma'am. She left the rest of the portions to the M Ed. students, who have come from Government Training College of Teacher Education, Thycadu, as part of their internship. Benedict Sir introduced them to us and he welcomed them with the love and warmth with which any theophilite would welcome its guests.  It was Giby Ma'am who engaged us later, and yes, she made us laugh, she made us thin

After the 10 days break, we got back to the college with a happy heart brimming with vigour and vitality. It's New Year, nah?! We were ready to start afresh, eager to clench new hopes and hues, though not leaving behind the lessons life taught us in the previous year. It was Meekha Ma'am who engaged us in the first period, discussing and reminding us of the remaining tasks to be finished in no time. Joju Sir engaged us later on and he forgot not to enlighten us with his new year message. Lessons were given on creating e - content along with many other valuable life lessons which the prescribed syllabus might fail to teach us.  Maya Ma'am dealt with the teacher competencies in the afternoon period and we found the session effective and informative. We watered the vegetable plants before leaving the campus as per the instruction of the Principal and it was such a beautiful thing to do.  A well begun is half done, it is said.
