Though the online classes are not as interesting and absorbing as offline classes are, they don't seem to fail the purpose they ought to serve. The online sessions are informative, interactive and effective , and the teachers concerned make it sure that the students miss nothing. Today, the first period was handled by Sathyalekha Ma'am, who discussed in detail Ericson's Theory of Psycho Social Development. Meekha Ma'am engaged us later on and she talked about the importance of unit plan. Both Nandana and Sr. Jomcy presented their seminar topics, and their presentation was worth appreciating. Dona Ma'am joined us for the next session, and it was emotional intelligence that she dealt with. One more day of online education had gone by, and the hike in the covid test positivity rate appears to promise an era of  online education.😐

07.01.2022 തിയോഫിലസിലെ ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഓരോ പുതിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളാണ്; ഓരോ അനുഭവങ്ങളും ഓരോ പുതിയ  ഓർമകളും. ഇന്നെന്ത് അത്ഭുതമാണ് കോളേജ് എല്ലാർക്കുമായി കാത്തുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന കൗതുകവും പേറിയാണ് ഓരോ ദിവസവും പുലരുക. അത്തരം കുഞ്ഞുകുഞ്ഞു  ചിന്തകളുമായാണ് ഇന്നും കോളേജിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചത്. ദിവസത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ മണിക്കൂറുകളിൽ പുതുമയുള്ളതൊന്നും സംഭവിച്ചില്ല. സത്യലേഖ മാമിന്റെ ഓപ്‌ഷണൽ ക്ലാസ് വിരസതയില്ലാതെ കടന്നുപോയി. തിയറി ക്ലാസ് സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ കാലേ കൂട്ടി തയാറെടുത്തിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നിലേക്ക് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായാണ് ആ കുഞ്ഞു മനുഷ്യൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. ഉയരം കുറഞ്ഞ, തീരെ മെലിഞ്ഞ, തിളക്കമുള്ള കണ്ണുകളും പ്രസാദമുള്ള മുഖവുമുള്ള ഒരാൾ. ആദ്യനോട്ടത്തിൽ ഇതാരെന്ന സംശയം തോന്നി. ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തെയും അതിന്റെ പുറംചട്ട നോക്കി വിലയിരുത്തരുതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തെളിയിച്ചു. തുടക്കം മുതൽ ഒടുക്കം വരെ ഞങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളുടെ പോലും ശ്രദ്ധ മാറാതെ, താൽപ്പര്യം തെല്ലും കുറയാതെ, പൂർണമായും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന, ആസ്വാദ്യകരമായ ഒരു പഠനാനുഭവം അദ്ദേഹം ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ചു. കേവലം 40 മിനിറ്റ് മാത്രമുള്ള പിരീഡുകൾക്ക് നീളം കൂടുതലാണെന്ന് വിഷമിച്ചിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങൾക്ക്...

പ്രണയവർണങ്ങൾ

വിക്ടർ, വിക്ടർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്റെ ഹീറോ. ഇരു നിറമുള്ള, കുഞ്ഞു താടിരോമങ്ങളുള്ള, കണ്ണുകളിൽ അലിവും ചുണ്ടിൽ സദാ ചെറു പുഞ്ചിരിയുമുള്ള സ്നേഹിക്കാൻ മാത്രമറിയാവുന്ന, മേമ്പൊടിക്ക് ഇച്ചിരി വിപ്ലവവും കൈമുതലായുള്ള വിക്ടർ. "അവളുടെ കവിളിലില്‍ തുടു വിരലാലേ കവിതകളെഴുതിയതാരേ.. മുകുളിതയാക്കിയതാരേ.... അവളേ പ്രണയിനിയാക്കിയതാരേ.." എന്ന വരികളോടൊപ്പം വിക്ടറിനെ മനസ്സിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്നെങ്കിലുമൊരിക്കൽ എന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവരാൻ പോകുന്ന, എവിടെയോ ഉള്ള ചെറുപ്പക്കാരന് ആ മുഖമായിരിക്കണമെന്ന്, ആ മനസ്സായിരിക്കണമെന്ന് ഞാൻ  ഒത്തിരി ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പിന്നീട്, എന്റെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് വിപരീതമായി, നന്നേ വെളുത്ത്, ഉയരം കുറഞ്ഞ സുമുഖനായ യുവാവ് ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ പാതി ചോദിച്ചു വന്നപ്പോൾ തെല്ലൊരാശയക്കുഴപ്പം തോന്നാതിരുന്നില്ല . കാഴ്ചയിൽ വിക്ടറിന്റെ രൂപമില്ലെങ്കിലും വ്യക്തി സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിൽ കൈ കടത്താത്ത, വ്യക്തിസത്തയെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന, പരസ്പര ബഹുമാനത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന, മാനസികമായും ശാരീരികമായും വൈകാരികമായും ആശ്രയിക്കാനുതകുന്ന കൂട്ടായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ഒരുമിച്ചൊഴുകാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ശേഷം നാളിതുവരെയ...

09. 02. 2022  I should have been to the college today. I missed the first assembly by Physical Science.   I missed the magnificent moment of my classmates receiving prizes for some competitions held as part of the Xmas celebration. I missed the seminar presentation by my fellow comrades. I missed the mirth and merriment. I missed the leisure and laughter. Yes, I have a strong feeling of missing. 'Heard melodies are sweet but those unheard are sweeter', right?!  Guys, I will be back in college by the next week. Promise me, you won't hesitate to give me the same sort of joy and jokes. I love you and I miss you.
