And yes, it was yet another day of celebration. The grand gala inauguration of the 66th college union was worth living . We got two charismatic personalities as the chief guests; Shri. Abhilash Mohanan for the Union Inauguration and Shri. Aswathlal for the Arts Club inauguration. Both of them made our day even more special with their presence and valuable words. The afternoon session witnessed the lovely and lively performances by the students, both seniors and juniors. And that was all about the day.

"I cannot rest from travel, I will drink life to the lees."

17.03.2022 Ha, how I wish to spend the whole of of my life like I did today; with least worries and great peace of mind! Yeah, we lived to the brim; drank to the lees! Full of positive people and tranquil nature around, the field trip proved to be amazing. We started our journey at 7.30 from college and our first destination was Ashan Smarakam at Thonnakkal. To be honest, the place was heavenly and I vow that I have seldom been to such places where your inner spirit seems to confer with your soul. To visit such a place where a poet of great worth is remembered and honored can be reckoned as a boon. We mopped up the beauty of the place along with our trained selfi faces through our cellphone cameras. No scientific inventions till date are adequate enough to copy the beauty of nature though. After having our breakfast, we moved to Sambranikkodi at Kollam, and by 10.30 we reached the place. We spent almost 3 hours there and those moments gave us memories which promised to stay forever. 10.03.2022 Each day seems eventful now a days. You can't help but live the day to its full. Following the morning yoga session, Meekha Ma'am engaged us and we planned for the field trip during the first few minutes of the hour. Our planning reaching nowhere and enough time consuming, Ma'am switched conveniently to the seminar presentation where Arundhathi and Anagha presented their papers. We had the oath taking ceremony of the 66th Uollege Union in the afternoon. For we people, who have  witnessed such events only on TV screen, this experience was something new and worth watching. Let the new leaders prove their mettle and lead the college's name to the heights of glory upholding the democratic beliefs! The best part of the function was that we were given sweets at the end. "Let something good happen. Let something sweet happen."☺️

And We Rise!

08.03.2022 International women's day it was. Our day started with Maya Ma'am's session. She began the class by wishing us women's day, and gave opportunity to all our male friends to do the same. Yoga class followed, and during the session George Sir taught us some asanas which actually put to test our body flexibility and mental capacity. The afternoon session was more interesting since there was no room for academic sessions. Teachers, pardon us, we are still students. You know the students psychology well, right?! Well, there was that amazing flash mob lead by the Physical Science students as part of the International Science Day. We loved it. And there was a programme conducted by the Women Cell of the college, which, we believe, was fruitful. How could the event go unnoticed and unappreciated; we are all 'phenomenal', nah?! "Now you understand Just why my head’s not bowed.    I don’t shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud.    When you see me pas...

25. 02. 2022 I have visited  many beautiful places before; but I could find such tranquility nowhere. I have attended many lectures before; but didn't seem to have developed this kind of attachment with the resource person. I have taken part in many field trips before; but they had not been this interesting and informative. Yes,  Guru Gopinath National Dance Museum was such an adorable place, Dr. Sajeev Nair was such an admiring personality and and our first field trip was such an amazing experience.  We reached the Museum by 11 am, and I fell in love with the place at the fight sight itself. We were divided into two groups for the sake of convenience. I belonged to the group which attended the talk first. The talk, Oh my God, was really great. He was an erudite who could go on talking for hours about Keralanatanam. He was a blessed disciple of Sri. Guru Gopinath,  the veteran dancer and the founder of Keralanatanam. The talk extended only for 45 minutes,...

Fifth and Fabulous Day.

22. 02. 2022 The last day of induction promised to last for ever. Beautiful day it was.  Since the teachers were busy with some important official duties, we, the student teachers,  were left with the task of engaging the classes in plenty. I engaged three classes today, 9F and 9G in the morning, and 10 E in the afternoon. After the initial introductory session, I made them play some tiny word games, which the students seemed to enjoy. We also took part in the midday meal distribution, and yes, it is great to serve food for the hungry. Finally, in the evening, we took a group photo and bid good bye to the school campus 'temporarily'. Who knows what future has in store for us? What if I become a teacher of 'this institution' in the near (or distant) future?!  Whatever it is, I felt grateful to be back in school again, even for a very short span of time, in a  different role, wearing a teacher's robe. It is awesome to spend your life in a school, it is awesome to ming...
