Fifth and Fabulous Day.
22. 02. 2022
The last day of induction promised to last for ever. Beautiful day it was. Since the teachers were busy with some important official duties, we, the student teachers, were left with the task of engaging the classes in plenty. I engaged three classes today, 9F and 9G in the morning, and 10 E in the afternoon. After the initial introductory session, I made them play some tiny word games, which the students seemed to enjoy. We also took part in the midday meal distribution, and yes, it is great to serve food for the hungry. Finally, in the evening, we took a group photo and bid good bye to the school campus 'temporarily'. Who knows what future has in store for us? What if I become a teacher of 'this institution' in the near (or distant) future?! Whatever it is, I felt grateful to be back in school again, even for a very short span of time, in a different role, wearing a teacher's robe. It is awesome to spend your life in a school, it is awesome to mingle with the children, it is awesome to feel like a student again and, of course, it is awesome be a teacher! Induction days, you gave me memories for a life time.
