Pack Up.

Thus, it's over. The second phase of teaching practice came to an end. Yes, we have done away with a fraction of our workload.We're happy, ofcourse. But the valediction was painful. Something, something at the corner of our heart seems to weigh us down. We are going to miss something so badly. Whether it's the calm, serene and tranquil atmosphere of the school, or it's the all supportive and ever smiling teachers, or it's the unconditional love of those innocent beings, our beloved students, I don't know. 
The small yet beautiful valedictory function arranged by the school fraternity proved their love towards us. The love and affection showcased by the students touched our mind very much. What else does one need to make their day meaningful?! 
We are leaving with a heavy heart not knowing why. GHSS Kanyakulangara you deserve a salute!

07.01.2022 തിയോഫിലസിലെ ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഓരോ പുതിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളാണ്; ഓരോ അനുഭവങ്ങളും ഓരോ പുതിയ  ഓർമകളും. ഇന്നെന്ത് അത്ഭുതമാണ് കോളേജ് എല്ലാർക്കുമായി കാത്തുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന കൗതുകവും പേറിയാണ് ഓരോ ദിവസവും പുലരുക. അത്തരം കുഞ്ഞുകുഞ്ഞു  ചിന്തകളുമായാണ് ഇന്നും കോളേജിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചത്. ദിവസത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ മണിക്കൂറുകളിൽ പുതുമയുള്ളതൊന്നും സംഭവിച്ചില്ല. സത്യലേഖ മാമിന്റെ ഓപ്‌ഷണൽ ക്ലാസ് വിരസതയില്ലാതെ കടന്നുപോയി. തിയറി ക്ലാസ് സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ കാലേ കൂട്ടി തയാറെടുത്തിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നിലേക്ക് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായാണ് ആ കുഞ്ഞു മനുഷ്യൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. ഉയരം കുറഞ്ഞ, തീരെ മെലിഞ്ഞ, തിളക്കമുള്ള കണ്ണുകളും പ്രസാദമുള്ള മുഖവുമുള്ള ഒരാൾ. ആദ്യനോട്ടത്തിൽ ഇതാരെന്ന സംശയം തോന്നി. ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തെയും അതിന്റെ പുറംചട്ട നോക്കി വിലയിരുത്തരുതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തെളിയിച്ചു. തുടക്കം മുതൽ ഒടുക്കം വരെ ഞങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളുടെ പോലും ശ്രദ്ധ മാറാതെ, താൽപ്പര്യം തെല്ലും കുറയാതെ, പൂർണമായും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന, ആസ്വാദ്യകരമായ ഒരു പഠനാനുഭവം അദ്ദേഹം ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ചു. കേവലം 40 മിനിറ്റ് മാത്രമുള്ള പിരീഡുകൾക്ക് നീളം കൂടുതലാണെന്ന് വിഷമിച്ചിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് 1.15 മണി

Back with a Bang!

After the 10 days break, we got back to the college with a happy heart brimming with vigour and vitality. It's New Year, nah?! We were ready to start afresh, eager to clench new hopes and hues, though not leaving behind the lessons life taught us in the previous year. It was Meekha Ma'am who engaged us in the first period, discussing and reminding us of the remaining tasks to be finished in no time. Joju Sir engaged us later on and he forgot not to enlighten us with his new year message. Lessons were given on creating e - content along with many other valuable life lessons which the prescribed syllabus might fail to teach us.  Maya Ma'am dealt with the teacher competencies in the afternoon period and we found the session effective and informative. "I cannot rest from travel, I will drink life to the lees."

17.03.2022 Ha, how I wish to spend the whole of of my life like I did today; with least worries and great peace of mind! Yeah, we lived to the brim; drank to the lees! Full of positive people and tranquil nature around, the field trip proved to be amazing. We started our journey at 7.30 from college and our first destination was Ashan Smarakam at Thonnakkal. To be honest, the place was heavenly and I vow that I have seldom been to such places where your inner spirit seems to confer with your soul. To visit such a place where a poet of great worth is remembered and honored can be reckoned as a boon. We mopped up the beauty of the place along with our trained selfi faces through our cellphone cameras. No scientific inventions till date are adequate enough to copy the beauty of nature though. After having our breakfast, we moved to Sambranikkodi at Kollam, and by 10.30 we reached the place. We spent almost 3 hours there and those moments gave us memories which promised to stay forever. Af
